Warm Up is an acclaimed summer music series that goes down each Saturday (from July 5-Sept 6) at the P.S. 1 Contemporary Art Center in Long Island City, Queens. Each year P.S. 1 holds a design contest where one lucky architecture firm gets to transform their courtyard into a funky venue for a weekly 7-hour pregame from 2-9pm. This year’s winning team, WORK, went the green-route and created an urban farm out of large cardboard tubes. There’s a $10 cover, but that includes both the party in the courtyard and admission to all of the museum’s exhibits. Get a little crunked and check out some cool art before heading out for the night.
