ElodieO is a French singer/composer who offers a soothing alternative to the current electro genre. Based in Nyc, the artist is set to release her first full length album Stubborn (Mulatta Records, Aug. 19, 2008) which features Aaron Johnston and Jesse Murphy from Brazilian Girls.
ElodieO produced all the tracks on the record save two which were re-arranged by Serge Gainsbourg and The Cure. Stubborn is a collection of fresh electronic beats paired with elegant French and English vocals. Through her voice and sound mix, she accomplishes a relaxing yet upbeat sound which intrigues the listener and stimulates the senses. The music carries a refined intelligence, making it well worth a listen.
