Weezer releases their 6th studio recording, The Red Album on June 3rd. It marks the band’s first release since 2005. Late last year, lead singer Rivers Cuomo released Alone: The Home Recordings of Rivers Cuomo (Geffen, Dec. 12, 2007), a collection of demos spanning from 1992-2007. A song off that album, “This is the Way” was slotted for inclusion on The Red Album before being bumped for “Dreamin” which becomes the first song to leak illegally. The original title of the track was “Daydreamer”.
