Don’t know about you, but when it gets cold outside I crave hip hop. Luckily for me, one of my favorite hip hop duos just dropped a new album in time to stem my ice-fueled craving. Clipse’s “Til the Casket Drops” is their first album not to be exclusively produced by The Neptunes, though the best tracks still have Pharell’s fingerprints on ‘em. Case in point, first single from the album: “Popular Demand (Popeyes),” is a Neptunes creation whose piano-driven beat bears a resemblance to Talib Kweli’s “Get By.” Take a listen below.
