CMJ 2009 (YEA I SAID IT)

It hasn’t taken long for organizers to announce festival dates for CMJ 2009 in New York. Just a few weeks after another successful run in 2008 (big ups to Kevin and Eliza for Quiet Color’s 2008 coverage), the festival has officially marked October 20-24 as the dates for next years run. CMJ will again be headquartered at NYU’s Greenwich Village Campus- with over 1,200 artists expected to gig out at over 75 of NYC’s nightclubs and theaters.

The great thing about the CMJ Music Marathon & Film Festival is the fact that promoters seek to discover new ubiquitous talent. Sure there are some household names, but CMJ offers inspired musicians and artists the chance to submit their work for an appearance. Interested? Enter your EPK here.
