MORE MUSIC WE DIDN’T POST ON VOL. 3

Damn so we’re already up to three installments of this post but it seriously kills soo many birds. We promote the artist, give you free music, and I get to clear out my inbox. That’s what she said… Anyhow, three acts grace the post today, a result of their bountiful pressers from last week. Here’s more music we didn’t post on (until now).

There’s a sweetness to Podington Bear’s mix composition that I really dig. P Bear has released over 150 tracks for free via podcast in the past two years. Summing that up: he’s sweet, generous, and a bear. I smell a sitcom. Check out his weekly podcast here.

What Made Milwaukee Famous made their new EP available for free download through November 17th via their label’s site, Barsuk.com. It’s a five track disc titled The Sugarhill Sessions and it’s rock solid. The crew is wrapping up a tour in the West Coast this week. Download the EP for a limited time here.

SWEET LADY BY WHAT MADE MILWAUKEE FAMOUS:

The Depths are a small time rock duo out of Ohio. Their debut EP, Nightlife, flashes potential but I’m admittedly split on sound. They shift between guitar and piano rock in the tracks I sampled. You can make your own mind up on these guys but I kinda dig this top track.
