In the spirit of Halloween, one of my favorite bands, the kick ass Black Rebel Motorcycle Club have just released details of a new album called The Effects of 333. BRMC released a cryptic message through their website last Friday giving only a date and the words “Dia De Los Muertos,” which translates to “Day of the Dead.” The Effects of 333 will only be released online and will mark the first off the bands own independent, Abstract Dragon label. Citing the label’s abstract theme as inspiration, the band says the songs will contain “no lyrics, no apologies, no regrets, just abstract.” The album has been recorded off and on for the better part of three years while the guys were on the road touring.
AWAKE BY BLACK REBEL MOTORCYCLE CLUB:
The Effects of 333 will be available at 3:33 PST on November 1, and three people will be chosen for a private video interview with singer/guitarist Peter Hayes that will take place on…..the 333rd day of the year.
