The other day I downloaded an application for my iPhone called Shazam. You fire this thing up and it will listen to whatever music is playing (in a bar, on the radio, wherever) and spit out the artist, song, album, year recorded, record label, links to Youtube videos, iTune downloads, and the lead signers’ mother’s maiden name. I have no idea how it does it. What’s even crazier is that it seems to know every song in the world.
Anyway, now if I hear a cool song on the radio for the first time I bust out Shazam, it finds all the info, and then saves it to my phone. At the end of the week I take a bunch of the songs, look them up, and give them another listen. It’s really fun. Here’s my first ever QC Shazam Mix…

they don’t have one for the touch right?
I think as long as you have internet conection and the App Store you can get Shazam. So the touch should have it.
You heard Kissing the Beehive on the radio?! That sounds far better than any radio station I’ve ever heard.
@Eric
88.5 XPN in Philly. Weekday mornings and Friday nights are the best. In the mornings its a lot of great indie/random stuff (like Kissing the Beehive) and Friday night it’s all funk. The station is at UPENN and is all listener sponsored, so they have a lot more freedom. Another beautiful thing is that you can stream it on the web @ http://www.xpn.org/listen-live/listen-live
