THE BOUND STEMS

The Bound Stems are a five piece band out of Chicago signed to Flameshovel Records. Their second full length album is titled The Family Afloat and was released on vinyl on July 11th, with a wide release scheduled for September 9th. My pal passed them along after hearing them on an indie radio station in Philly. They were a featured band on Daytrotter in 2006 (see here), and played Lollapalooza in 2007.

    love the bound stems. their last album was a hoot.
